The South East corner of the park has traditionally been its most popular entrance. On a workday a park visitor snoozes in the lush grass by “The Pond.” A survey taken in 1982 points out that almost 64% of the visitors who enter the park on weekdays enter alone. For NY business people often take advantage of the Park’s serenity during their lunch hour.
